One of the most
important tasks of the city’s authoritie is the complex renovation of the ski-jump in Wisla Malinka so
that it can serve the present and future generation of ski - jumpers – successors
of the World Champion Adam Małysz. The current state of the facility makes it
inadequate for use.
Two years ago first steps have been made
towards achieving this goal. A project documentation and cost assessment have
been prepared and accounted for about 30 mil Zloty. Wisla’s authorities aren’t
capable of financing the project on their own (the city’s budget is 15 mil)
that’s why a agreement has been signed with the Central Sport Hub in Warsaw
which stated that it would be the main investor and Wisla is expected to prepare
a full project- and legal documentation and cover 1% of the total costs.
Basic Ski-jump parameters:
Construction point: 120m
Jury point: 134m
Capacity: 8-10 thousand people, 2,5
thousand on
the main tribunes
Facility surface: 36000 m2
Structure surface: 2480 m2
Landing surface with run-up:
54000 m2
Road, parking-space- and walkway
surface: 8100 m2
Utility surface: 3300 m2
Facility volume: 19000 m3
The buildings are designed to be a
-monolith construction. The facade: natural stone, wood, glass, aluminum,
and
concrete. The facility is to be open all year because it will have
artificial-snow installations, lighting and
a needled surface.
